Man Utd handed boost in signing Dutch right-back

The Dutchman has been a long-term target for the Red Devils and he was initially on their radar during his time at PSV Eindhoven. He has continued to be linked regularly and he could be available this summer, having turned down a new long-term contract at Inter. Dumfries will enter the final year of his deal and the Nerazzurri will accept his sale rather than losing him on a free transfer in 2025. United are one of his main admirers and it remains to be seen whether they will make an approach for his services in the coming weeks. The club are currently assessing the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He has been fancied to leave with his contract expiring next year. Wan-Bissaka is also on the radar of Inter and there is a possibility that he could be used as a makeweight to land Dumfries from Inter.
