The Slovenian has been a key player for the Bundesliga outfit since his move from Salzburg last summer. He was initially a regular off the bench, but has been a starter since the turn of the year.

Sesko has netted 17 goals in his debut campaign and reports claim that he could be heading for the exit door due to the low release clause in his Leipzig contract.

The clause reportedly stood at £43m in January but it has increased to £52m amid his achievements on the field. If he were to score a hat-trick on the final day, the clause could rise to £64m.

Regardless of this, the Gunners are determined to secure his services and their rivals believe they have the upper hand this summer. Sesko would be a brilliant signing due to his huge potential.
