According to the Daily Mail, Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s loan at Fulham may be cut short.

The defender joined the London-based club looking for regular Premier League football, but has not managed to hold down a starting spot. He has only made eight league appearances so far.

Fulham are now thinking about terminating the loan this month in order to sign Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill on a rental basis.

The rules mean a club can only have two players on loan at one time from other Premier League sides. With Fosu-Mensah and Calum Chambers currently taking those two spots, Fulham are willing to send the Dutch international back to Manchester United to make room for Cahill.

Fulham are currently sitting 19th in the Premier League and are fighting for survival.

Zenit st Petersburg want St Juste

According to AD, Feyenoord must take into account that Jeremiah St Juste may leave the club this month with Zenit st Petersburg following the defender.

The Dutch newspaper reports that Feyenoord fended off interest from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer but now Zenit are set to come calling.

A possible fee is not mentioned by AD for the versatile Netherlands U21 international, who joined Feyenoord from Heerenveen in 2017.

St Juste has made 13 appearances for Feyenoord this season, mainly at right-back but he is more comfortable in a central role.

Feyenoord in the race for Japanese winger

According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, Feyenoord are in the running to sign Portimonense sensation Shoya Nakajima.

The Japanese winger has been a big hit in Portugal since joining surprise package Portimonense in 2017, firstly on loan and then permanently.

Nakajima has contributed 15 goals and 19 assists in 47 games for the Portuguese side, which has turned the attention of several European clubs including Feyenoord.

However, Feyenoord would face plenty of competition for the 24-year-old, with Manchester United, Southampton, Deportivo Alaves, Real Mallorca and Freiburg all said to be looking at the Japanese international.
