It’s been clear that the 19-year-old’s future has been in Turin for weeks and he has already come to an agreement on a five-year deal.
However, Juventus have struggled to reach an agreement with Ajax, who are sticking to their €75 million asking price. The Old Lady’s first offer of €50 million up front with €15 million worth of bonuses was swiftly rejected. They returned on Wednesday with a €67 million offer which was also turned down.
However, the negotiations are now in the final stages and it appears that an agreement will finally be reached on Friday.
Ajax are leaving for Austria on Saturday for a training camp and Juventus want to ensure De Ligt is theirs so he can be part of their tour of Asia next week.
