This is expected to trigger another spending spree in the summer and it is claimed that Williams is one of the top targets for the Blues.

Williams has the ability to play on both the right and left wing with equal consistency. His performances have grabbed plenty of attention.

He has six goals and 11 assists to his name for Bilbao this term. He would be an upgrade on the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke .

The Blues are not alone in the pursuit of the Spaniard. Arsenal are long-term admirers and are also expected to make an approach.

Real Madrid are also said to be keeping tabs on the winger, though they are likely to prioritise a new striker and a central defender.
