The west London giants have so far made five signings this summer. Tosin Adarabioyo initially arrived on a free transfer from Fulham .

This was followed by the acquisitions of Omari Kellyman , Marc Guiu , Kiernan Dewsbury -Hall and most recently Renato Veiga .

None of them can be considered as marquee signings and reports claim that the trend could be similar for the rest of the transfer window .

The Blues are not planning to spend big money on any recruit and are instead prepared to trust the quality within the current first-team squad.

Chelsea are still in the transfer market, but they are aiming to purchase players who can add depth rather than a guaranteed starter.
