Chelsea agree £52m deal to sign Portuguese attacker
Chelsea have agreed a deal worth £52 million to sign Portuguese attacker Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to RMC Sport.
The west London giants recently parted ways with midfielder Conor Gallagher and they have replaced him with a forward player.
RMC reveal that the Blues have agreed to pay £52m including add-ons for Neto, who made 14 goal contributions in 24 games last term.
Neto was also on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, but the Blues have won the race for his signature after securing a quick agreement.
The Portuguese has already said his goodbyes to his teammates and he will be travelling to the English capital for his medical tomorrow.
Neto has been injury-prone for most of his career and the huge outlay from the Blues definitely represents a massive risk in our opinion.
Arsenal were keen on signing him two years ago, but decided against meeting the asking price due to the winger's injury record.
