Man Utd suffer double injury scare against Brentford
Manchester United suffered a double injury blow during Saturday's 2-1 Premier League win over Brentford at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils ended a five-match winless streak with a victory over the Bees. Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund were the goalscorers.
Towards the end of the game, Casemiro was substituted with an apparent calf problem. Jonny Evans was likewise removed with a hamstring issue.
Erik ten Hag did not provide a clear update on the same during his post-match presser but we should get more news over the coming days.
If Casemiro is sidelined, Manuel Ugarte will most likely partner Christian Eriksen in midfield, considering Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount are injured.
Evans' absence could pave the way for a defensive shift. Lisandro Martinez could return to central defence to partner Matthijs de Ligt.
Diogo Dalot could return to a makeshift left-back role with Noussair Mazraoui starting on the right side of the four-man backline.
United will be in Europa League action at Fenerbahce in midweek.
