Chelsea star doubtful to face Panathinaikos
Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is doubtful to face Panathinaikos in the Conference League on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old has been the Blues' goalkeeper outside of the Premier League, but his availability is uncertain.
Jorgensen did not make the bench against Liverpool last weekend after he suffered concussion on Denmark Under-21 duty.
The Blues followed the protocols as a result, but they are hopeful that he will recover in time to face the Greek outfit.
If Jorgensen is deemed unfit, Robert Sanchez could continue in goal despite his poor shot-stopping at the weekend.
Sanchez was poor with his distribution and positioning. He was largely responsible for Curtis Jones ' winner.
The Spaniard could have the chance to make amends if Jorgensen is unavailable to take his place in goal.
Chelsea have a huge weekend coming up with Newcastle United making the trip to Stamford Bridge in the league.
The Blues need to return to winning ways to stay in the top four race. Hence, there should be wholesale changes in midweek.
