Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Newcastle, Nkunku starts
Chelsea travel to St James' Park for tonight's Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Newcastle United.
Manager
Enzo Maresca has made wholesale changes for the Cup and European games and we should see something similar.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
Filip Jorgensen is the Cup goalkeeper for the Blues and he is expected to replace Robert Sanchez between the sticks.
The defence should see a complete overhaul with Reece James , Wesley Fofana , Levi Colwill and Malo Gusto dropping to the bench.
Axel Disasi and Marc Cucurella should start on the right and left back roles with Benoit Badiashile partnering Tosin Adarabioyo in central defence.
Enzo Fernandez should return to the starting line-up in midfield. He could be accompanied by Moises Caicedo , who has been in fine form lately.
Further forward, Jadon Sancho could get a game after not featuring in recent outings. He could start on the right wing with Mykhailo Mudryk operating from the opposite flank.
Joao Felix should slot into the number 10 position for the west London giants with Christopher Nkunku leading the line against the Magpies.
Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1): Jorgensen; Disasi, Adarabioyo, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Sancho, Felix, Mudryk; Nkunku.
