Arsenal handed major injury boost for Chelsea clash
Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Gunners have been disappointing in the league lately with just one point picked up from the last three outings. This has dropped them to fifth in the standings behind the Blues.
The London duo will meet at the Bridge this weekend and ahead of the game, Arsenal have received a timely boost with Declan Rice in contention to play despite suffering a broken toe.
Rice picked up the injury against Newcastle United last weekend and he was left out of the Champions League trip to Inter Milan last night for the same reason.
It could take several weeks for him to recover, but the midfielder has decided to continue to play with the concern. He is expected to make the starting line-up against the Blues.
Rice has also been named in the England squad for the upcoming Nations League games. It remains to be seen whether he will drop out.
