Liverpool midfielder pushing for January exit
Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo is pushing to leave the club when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Japan international joined the Reds from Stuttgart last year under manager
Jurgen Klopp and he was a key figure in the centre of the park.
However, he has been restricted to minutes off the bench this campaign with manager Arne Slot preferring to stick with Ryan Gravenberch in the no.6 role.
Endo has been restricted to starts in the Carabao Cup thus far and Caught Offside claim that the 31-year-old is prepared to move on at the beginning of 2025.
The Reds are also open to the prospect of selling him as they could spend on another marquee midfielder to boost their prospects of winning the league title.
The Merseyside giants plan to demand around £13m for Endo, though they may have to accept a significantly lesser fee, considering his age and lack of minutes this term.
