Ruben Amorim confirms rotation plans for Everton game
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed plans to rotate his players for the Premier League clash against Everton at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese made six changes to the starting line-up against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday and he plans to do something similar versus the Toffees.
Speaking in his pre-match presser, he said: "Yeah, it is what it is. We will rotate players and we will be ready. Today we have to use like four subs to manage the fitness, not the game.
We managed the fitness today and we have to do it. We already know it will be like that; no excuses and we should be ready for Sunday. We have to win."
United played out a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town in the Premier League last weekend. This was followed by a 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.
In both of those games, they could have easily conceded more goals due to their defensive vulnerability. Everton will be aiming to capitalise on the same on Sunday.
The Merseyside outfit have been inconsistent with their performances, but United can't take them lightly. Amorim will be aiming for a second straight win in all competitions.
