The Gunners were hot on the trail of the Slovenian star last summer, but he ended up signing a new long-term deal with Leipzig.

Sesko was reluctant to play second fiddle to Kai Havertz , who had a brilliant end to last season. This was a big reason behind his choice.

This has not ended the speculation regarding his future and reports claim that Arsenal are still keen on landing his services from Leipzig.

The 21-year-old has netted 10 goals from 22 appearances for his club this term which is the exact same tally as Havertz for Arsenal .

However, he has a much higher ceiling than the German. His high pressing and brilliant finishing skills are among his main strengths.

Arsenal will have to pay a premium fee for the young striker. It has been reported that he could cost around £70 million next summer.
