Despite this, he is attracting high-profile interest. Aside from the Blues, Manchester City are on the trail for him.

The Premier League champions have identified the former Reading man as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrez .

Mahrez recently made the switch to Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia.
