Mikel Arteta makes transfer decision on Folarin Balogun
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made the decision to part ways with Folarin Balogun despite the setback for Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus recently underwent another knee surgery and this is expected to rule him out of action for between four to six weeks.
Despite this, Arteta has a clear mindset on Balogun, and he is expected to leave the club before the transfer window closes.
Arsenal currently want £45 million to sell their graduate, but they have been no clubs willing to meet their demands for him.
The north London giants are reluctant to lower their price for now as they are aware that they could be late interest in his services.
Monaco are one of the clubs monitoring him. Inter were recently interested, but have turned their attention to West Ham United's Gianluca Scamacca .
The likes of West Ham and Crystal Palace could enter the race for Balogun if the price tag is lowered to £35m in the near future.
