French giants preparing €50m bid for Arsenal striker
French giants Monaco are preparing an improved third offer to sign Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun this summer.
The 22-year-old had an excellent loan season with Reims last term. He netted 22 goals and provided three assists.
Despite this, the Gunners have put him up for sale as manager Mikel Arteta can't guarantee him a regular starting role.
Monaco recently made an opening offer of €35 million for Balogun before making a second proposal of around €40m.
The Ligue 1 heavyweights are now planning a third offer in the region of €50m to secure his services this summer.
Aside from Monaco, West Ham United are also interested in the young striker, but he prefers to join the French side.
Balogun had a hugely successful season in Ligue 1 and he prefers to continue his career in the French top-flight.
Inter Milan were recently in the race to sign the Gunners graduate, but have pulled out of talks as they can't afford him.
