The Cityzens agreed personal terms with the versatile winger at the start of August and they have now agreed a transfer package.

Rennes were looking for around €60m for his services, but Pep Guardiola 's are expected to pay €55m including add-ons for Doku.

The 21-year-old is considered as one of the best dribblers in European football and he is also gifted with tremendous pace.

He still needs to work on his finishing and decision-making in the final third, but that should improve under Pep Guardiola .

Doku has been brought in as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez . His arrival should end the club's interest in signing Lucas Paqueta .

Paqueta was recently on the cusp of joining from West Ham United, but City pulled out of talks due to betting charges on him.
