Man Utd planning to sign Spurs man in January?
Manchester United are reportedly planning to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils invested in Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat this summer. Amrabat signed on loan for a high fee, but United have the option to purchase him at the end of the campaign.
It is now reported that the club could secure the services of Hojbjerg when the transfer window reopens at the beginning of the New Year.
The Dane has fallen out-of-favour under Ange Postecoglou at Spurs and he is prepared to pursue a new challenge at the earliest possibility.
Atletico are long-term admirers of him, but Corriere dello Sport claim that United could compete with the La Liga giants for his services.
Spurs want around €30m for his signature and United could contemplate selling Scott McTominay to facilitate the Dane's arrival in January.
Scott McTominay was the subject of interest from Fulham in the final phase of the summer transfer window . They plan to return for him.
