PSG join Man Utd in race to sign Portuguese wonderkid
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Benfica wonderkid Antonio Silva next summer.
Silva is currently one of the most sought-after centre-backs in European football and he has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge.
United have been closely monitoring his progress but Record claim that they are not alone in the pursuit of the highly-rated star.
Real Madrid are currently keeping tabs on his performances and it is reported that Les Parisiens have also entered the race for him.
Les Parisiens advisor Luis Campos is eyeing a new centre-back, who could provide competition to Marquinhos and Milan Skriniar .
Silva has been earmarked as the priority target and the final decision will depend on manager Luis Enrique and the club's hierarchy.
The news won't please United fans, considering Les Parisiens have the funds to readily meet the demands of Benfica next summer.
Benfica have no plans to sell him at the moment, but they can't stop Silva from leaving if the €120m release clause in his deal is triggered.
