The Ghanaian agreed personal terms with the Blues through his agent, but a transfer did not materialise due to the fee offered.

The Blues made a low-ball bid for the attacker and they did not come up with a counter-offer after West Ham joined the race.

Speaking to RMC Sport, Jen Mendelewitsch has now slammed the Blues for their lack of intent in signing his client.

She said: "We reached an agreement with Chelsea , we agreed the contract with Chelsea but the deal was not done."

"He talked with the coach but in the end it didn't happen because Chelsea made a ridiculous offer to Ajax. There was no counter offer."

Kudus ended up moving to the Hammers instead and he has made a fine start to his career with them in all competitions.

The former Ajax man has amassed six goals and one assist from just 11 appearances for the east London outfit.
