Chelsea manager confirms striker is out of Arsenal game
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Armando Broja won't play any role against Arsenal after sustaining a fresh knee injury.
The youngster spent nearly a year on the sidelines with a serious knee injury and he has now suffered another setback with the Blues.
No return date has been mentioned by the club, but Pochettino has confirmed that he will be sidelined for the upcoming derby at home.
The Blues are currently 11th in the table with just 11 points on the board. They need to build momentum by winning games regularly.
They have the chance to make a statement tomorrow when the Gunners visit Stamford Bridge. The visitors have dominated the fixture lately.
With Broja injured, Nicolas Jackson is the natural replacement in the striker's role, but Pochettino could also spring up a possible surprise.
He could play Raheem Sterling as a false number nine, thereby having Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke as his winger options.
