Man Utd midfielder pushing for January exit
Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has revealed his desire to head for the exit door during the January transfer window.
The Dutchman has been a fringe player for the Red Devils and he has played less than 30 minutes across all competitions this term.
Despite being injury-free, he has been constantly ignored by manager Erik ten Hag and the midfielder is now eyeing a fresh challenge.
Speaking to The Mirror today, he said: "I need to play on regular basis. If not at Man United, it will be at another club. It’s a healthy ambition."
Van de Beek suffered a serious knee injury during the back end of last season and he only returned to full training in pre-season last summer.
No clubs were willing to take him on a permanent basis. United wanted around €15 million for the Dutchman which put off his suitors.
They may need to accept a significant loss in the New Year to part ways with him. It has been claimed that he could be sold for €6m.
