Fenerbahce preparing January bid for Anthony Martial
Turkish giants Fenerbahce are preparing a winter move for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Frenchman has had a difficult start to the campaign but he was brilliant against Everton on Sunday evening.
He won the penalty for the second goal in the 3-0 win and later on scored a goal of his own at Goodison Park.
Despite this, there is speculation that he could leave the club in January as his contract expires during the summer.
United have decided against triggering an extension clause which will keep him at the club for another year.
Fenerbahce, who signed Fred from United last summer, are now prepared to make an approach for the striker.
It will be interesting to see whether Martial will accept the proposal or wait until the end of the campaign.
Martial would need to accept a huge pay-cut to join the Turkish outfit.
On the other hand, he could receive more lucrative salaries from Saudi Arabian clubs on a free transfer.
