Premier League
Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Newcastle, Mainoo starts
Manchester United travel to Tyneside for tonight's Premier League clash against Newcastle United on the road.
The Red Devils have won three league games on the bounce and will be aiming for another victory at St James' Park.
Ahead of the game, manager Erik ten Hag could make a few changes from the 3-3 draw against Galatasaray on the road.
Predicted Line-up:
Andre Onana cost his team in midweek with two howlers. Despite this, he is expected to start between the sticks tonight.
In front of him, it could be a different backline. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are expected to start in the full-back positions.
However, Harry Maguire could have a new centre-back partner in Raphael Varane with Victor Lindelof struggling for consistency.
Kobbie Mainoo should be reinstated into the XI ahead of Sofyan Amrabat in the number eight role. He had a brilliant full league debut last weekend.
Scott McTominay seems the obvious partner for Mainoo with more creative players in Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount on the sidelines.
Donny van de Beek is available for selection, but the Dutchman is completely out-of-favour under Ten Hag at the current point of time.
Further forward, Alejandro Garnacho is set to keep his place on the left wing on the back of goals in successive appearances for the Red Devils.
Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund are nailed-on starters in the number 10 and number 9 roles but Antony should drop back to the bench.
Marcus Rashford was suspended in midweek, but should return on the right flank where he has been playing in the league over recent games.
