Arsenal and Chelsea handed striker transfer boost
Arsenal and Chelsea have been handed a boost with Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe refusing to rule out the departure of Callum Wilson.
The Englishman has netted eight goals in the current campaign with seven of those in the Premier League. He is currently on his way back from a calf injury, but may have played his final game for the club.
The Magpies have reportedly set a price tag of around £18 million for the 31-year-old and it has been claimed that he could be sold before the transfer deadline with the club wary of breaching FFP limits.
Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring him and the duo have been handed a boost with Howe refusing to dismiss the speculation.
Speaking to reporters today, he said that he is determined to keep the striker, but added that there are some things not in his control.
He said the same for Miguel Almiron and Jamaal Lascelles . All three players could leave the Magpies before next week's deadline.
