Arsenal unlikely to make move for Osimhen - Ornstein
Arsenal are unlikely to make a summer move to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to David Ornstein.
The Gunners are expected to land a marquee striker during the summer
transfer window and Osimhen has been mentioned as a target.
It was recently claimed that the club could propose to pay around €90m for Osimhen with Napoli prepared to lower their demands for him.
However, according to Ornstein, the Gunners may not pursue a deal for the Nigerian star as he does not fit into their tactical scheme of things.
The 25-year-old is more of a traditional centre-forward. He is not known for his distribution or ability to create chances with his passing range.
Hence, Ornstein does not see the Gunners signing him. The reputed journalist has also dismissed the club's interest in Ivan Toney .
Instead of the duo, the Gunners have been fancied to sign either Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres when the transfer window reopens.
