Mauricio Pochettino reacts on missed chances vs Man City
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has spoken about the club's missed chances during the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City.
The Blues went into the game in form after scoring six goals past
Everton
. However, they lacked the cutting edge against
Pep Guardiola
's side.
Nicolas Jackson could have easily scored a hat-trick with the chances at hand, but the Senegalese was very poor with his decision-making.
Speaking after the game, Pochettino said that the Blues had more clear chances than the Everton game, but could not find the net.
He said: "I think last Monday we scored six but today we were not capable of scoring even with having maybe more chances and more clear chances to score."
The Blues have now gone trophyless for the second straight campaign and they will be aiming to make amends with a strong end to the season.
The club have seven more games left in the league season and still have a chance to qualify for the Europa League by winning most of those.
