Tosin Adarabioyo to sign for Tottenham?
Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo has emerged as a target for Tottenham this summer, as the club appear to be losing patience with their current defence. Despite adding Radu Dragusin in January, Tottenham may make a move for Fulham star
Adarabioyo had started his career at Man City in 2003 as a youth player, before a call up to the club's first team squad arrived in 2016. After four years of battling for a first-team place, he opted to depart for pastures new and changed the Cottagers. Two loan spells at West Brom and Blackburn Rovers gave him the first-team experience that attracted Fulham to make a permanent move to West London.
With 116 league games at Craven Cottage and an impressive five goals, the centre-back is seen as one of the club's best players at this time. Spurs are readying a reported £25 million bid for the 26-year-old Manchester-born defender.
Spurs have been criticised for their defensive performances at times this season, with Ange Postecoglou preferring attacking style of football. It is hoped new defenders will improve their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
