Chelsea respond to Napoli offer for Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea have reportedly rejected a loan offer from Napoli to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer.
The Belgium international spent the recent campaign on loan with Roma where he scored 21 goals in all competitions.
Lukaku is now on the radar of Napoli, but the Blues have no desire to sanction another temporary deal for the striker.
Chelsea want to balance their books before the end of the month. They prefer permanent bids close to his £38m release clause.
The west London giants are also prepared to consider bids from the Saudi Pro League after receiving the green light from Lukaku.
The former Inter Milan man recently said that he would not rule out a move to Saudi which should be a huge boost for the Blues.
He turned down a big-money move to Al-Hilal last summer, but he appears open to challenging himself in the Middle East this time.
Aside from Lukaku, the Blues are preparing to part ways with Conor Gallagher , Ian Maatsen , Trevoh Chalobah and Armando Broja .
