Man Utd ready to meet release clause to sign Dutch star
Manchester United are prepared to pay the £34 million release clause in the contract of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
The Dutch striker has been heavily linked with the Red Devils in recent weeks, and they are now stepping up their efforts to sign him.
Sheth claims that the club are now ready to meet the buy-out clause for the striker, and the final decision will depend on Zirkzee himself.
The agent commission was considered a stumbling block earlier this month, but United have now reached an agreement with his representative.
Zirkzee reportedly prefers to continue in the Italian top-flight, but there are no concrete proposals at the moment. Milan are reluctant to pay the fee.
This could urge Zirkzee to consider a move to the Premier League, but United won't be alone in the pursuit with Arsenal and Spurs keen.
We could see the north London giants contact his representative in the coming days. Zirkzee could choose between them by the end of June.
