SWANSEA are lining up a summer move for Swedish international midfielder Viktor Claesson.
The playmaker, 26, is poised to be part of his country's World Cup squad following an impressive season with Russian outfit Kuban Krasnodar.
And reports in both countries claim Liberty Stadium boss Carlos Carvalhal has earmarked Claesson as a close-season target.
German clubs Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt are also said to be interested in the midfielder, who is known for his range of passing and ability at set-pieces.
Krasnodar will seek around £8million for 21-cap international Claesson after he was tipped to shine at this summer's finals.
He netted a stunning volley in Krasnodar's 3-0 win over Arsenal Tula on Saturday, making it three games in a row on the scoresheet.
Claesson has inspired the unfancied club to third in the Russian Premier League.
They can clinch a Champions League spot if they make up the three-point deficit on second-placed Spartak Moscow.
Claesson joined Krasnodar from IK Elfsborg 15 months ago, and is under contract until 2020.
He began his career with IFK Varnamo before joining Elfsborg in 2012 - winning a league title and Swedish Cup with his hometown club.
