UEFA rules mean that a player must always join the manager at the pre-match press conference ahead of a Europa League tie - and with so few senior players on board Everton's flight for Cyprus on Wednesday, that meant Morgan Schneiderlin was called on for media duties.
Of course his take on THAT incident was one of the first questions posed.
Schneiderlin and team-mate Kevin Mirallas were involved in a Finch Farm moment last month when they were invited to leave the training pitch during a session with coach Duncan Ferguson.
Both players accepted the invitation.
Each later posted messages on social media, Kevin Mirallas apologising and Schneiderlin denying stories that he had "been sent away from training" and insisting he remained "fully committed to Everton."
This was the first opportunity for the player to publicly confront the issue.
Is it just us, or does the French international look a little uncomfortable, shifty even, answering the question?
Either way he has an opportunity in Cyprus this evening to wipe the slate clean and start again.
