Ajax have confirmed that young goalkeeper Tommy Setford has left the club to join Arsenal.

The English youth international has been with the Ajax academy since 2013 and had a year left on his contract with the club.

However, Arsenal have swooped to take the 18-year-old for an undisclosed fee. The young stopper immediately joins their training camp in America.

Tommy is the younger brother of Jong Ajax goalkeeper Charlie Setford. He was part of Ajax’s U18 squad.
