Man Utd handed big boost in signing 26yo striker
Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in signing Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres with Arsenal and Barcelona having other plans in mind.
The Swede has been in sensational form for the Portuguese champions and he has already netted 23 goals in all competitions this campaign.
Gyokeres has been transformed under manager Ruben Amorim and there are claims that he could be reunited with the Portuguese at United.
Amorim has left Sporting CP to become United's new head coach and there is a possibility that the duo could be reunited at Old Trafford soon.
United have now been handed a huge boost with reports emerging that Arsenal prefer to land Alexander Isak as their new centre-forward.
Barcelona have had previous interest in Gyokeres, but they are no longer planning a change with the sensational form of Robert Lewandowski .
The news is a huge boost for the Red Devils, who could now have a free run at signing the Swedish star from Sporting at the end of the season.
