The 32-year-old completed his move to the Bundesliga giants on Thursday, signing a deal until the end of the season.
Speaking to the club’s website, Blind said, “I can hardly wait to play here. The most important phase of the season is coming up, in which the prizes are distributed. A club like Bayern is capable of winning all trophies.
“The will to win trophies is palpable at this club and was decisive for my decision. I hope that I can contribute to the team with my experience. I will give everything for Bayern.”
Blind was available on a free transfer after having his contract with Ajax terminated at the start of the month.
