The Red Devils spent around €42m to land Zirkzee last summer, but he has been hugely disappointing with only one goal from 17 games.

The 23-year-old is already contemplating a new challenge away from the club and reports claim that he could return to the Italian top-flight.

Napoli were one of his admirers earlier in the summer and United are willing to discuss a player-plus-cash deal involving Osimhen.

They are prepared to offer €30m on top of Zirkzee to land the Nigerian star, who is currently on a season-long loan deal at Galatasaray.

Osimhen has the option to break his temporary stay in January, but he is determined to stay with the Turkish champions until next summer.

It remains to be seen whether Osimhen will consider the move. Napoli could also demand a straight-cash deal instead of a part-exchange.
