Johan Hove, a 22-year-old midfielder arrives on a permanent deal from Stromsgodset IF and signs a contract until 2026.
Hove played 128 games for Strømsgodset IF, scoring 29 times and providing ten assists.
Joining the Norwegian is 20-year-old midfielder Aimar Sehr, who is loaned from Italian side Spezia for either one or two seasons. Groningen can decide to extend the loan past a season but they also have an option to make the deal permanent.
Sehr made 37 appearances for Hammarby but since moving to Italy he has only appeared three times. He is seen as a big talent in his native Sweden.
Groningen are expected to make further signings in the coming days as they look to move away from the relegation zone.
