The midfielder, who is from Eindhoven, has had an excellent season with Toulouse but is expected to leave in the summer as his contract is expiring.

According to Voetbal International, PSV Eindhoven are interested in signing the 27-year-old, but there are other clubs in the Eredivisie also circling van den Boomen.

A three-man delegation from Forza Sports Group, the management of Van den Boomen, visited PSV’s training ground on Friday. However, the report adds that this could have been in relation to other players.

Van den Boomen’s reputation in France is growing and he helped Toulouse reach the French Cup final on Thursday. He will certainly be a wanted man in the summer.
