Ajax ready to re-sign player from Manchester United?
Ajax are reportedly open to re-signing Donny van de Beek from Manchester United this summer.
The Dutch international joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2020 with a huge reputation, but he has hardly impressed.
The midfielder has struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League and he may be sold in the next transfer window .
Van de Beek is currently out following a knee surgery but Football Insider claim that Ajax will attempt to re-sign him in July.
The 25-year-old has made 60 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions. He has contributed just two goals and two assists.
The former Ajax man had a loan stint with Everton earlier last year, but it was also unsuccessful with only one goal in seven games.
Hence, he has looked out of his depth in the Premier League and a return to Ajax this summer could help revive his flagging club career.
Van de Beek has also lost his national team spot amid his poor form.
