Chelsea to swap Lukaku to sign Victor Osimhen?
Chelsea have not closed the door on signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Nigerian star has decided to move on from the Serie A giants, but none of the interested clubs have triggered his €130 million release clause.
Paris Saint-Germain recently entered negotiations for Osimhen, but they are reluctant to include players who have been requested by Napoli.
It is now reported that Chelsea could be back in the race for the 25-year-old with Lukaku emerging as a potential successor for the Serie A side.
The Blues could sign Osimhen in a player-plus-cash deal for Lukaku, though a transfer could ultimately depend on the financial figures.
Chelsea are reluctant to pay more than €70 million on top of Lukaku for Osimhen, who dreams of playing in the Premier League.
Osimhen would also need to reduce his salary to make the switch. The Blues have no plans of matching his €240,000 per week salary.
