Serie A star confidently waiting for Man Utd transfer
Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is confidently waiting for a fresh approach from Manchester United, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Moroccan spent the 2023/24 season on loan with the Red Devils. He made only 30 appearances in all competitions and was far from impressive.
United decided against triggering the option to buy him for €20m, but Amrabat remains confident that they will make another loan proposal.
Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is also keen on landing his signature, but Amrabat has his sights on returning to the Premier League this summer.
Amrabat was on the radar of multiple English clubs last year before joining United and he is hopeful of receiving bids from elsewhere as well.
The 27-year-old will join Fiorentina in first-team training this week, but he has already made his mind up to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.
Fiorentina are unlikely to entertain another loan offer for him unless there is an obligation to buy at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
