Man Utd have to pay £21.5m to sign Bayern Munich star
Manchester United have to pay £21.5 million to sign Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Red Devils are currently in the process of selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham United. Talks are advanced between the Premier League clubs.
Meanwhile, United are also making progress in the pursuit of Mazraoui. Talks are more concrete with Bayern compared to discussions for Matthijs de Ligt.
Bayern are reluctant to lose Mazraoui on the cheap and they are expected to demand at least £21.5m to part ways with the former Ajax man.
Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen on a reunion with the Morocco international and he has instructed the hierarchy to secure a quick agreement.
The Dutch tactician would ideally want the right-back in his squad ahead of the first Premier League game of the season against Fulham .
United start the new English top-flight campaign against the Cottagers on August 16. It promises to be an exciting affair at Old Trafford.
