Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Marcus Rashford to AC Milan talks
AC Milan senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has opened the door to signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United this month.
The England international has been deemed surplus to requirements at United and he is free to leave the club during the
transfer window
.
Milan have expressed the desire to sign him on loan with an option to buy, but they are reluctant to pay more than 50 percent of his wages.
This is proving a stumbling block at the moment, but Ibrahimovic has refused to rule out Rashford's move to the Rossoneri.
He said: "I know Marcus well, we used to play together. It’s not an easy deal with Man United… we will see whether we decide to open talks or not."
Rashford has not featured in the last six games for the Red Devils. He is not expected to make the squad to face Arsenal in the FA Cup tomorrow.
The attacker has been indirectly in contact with several European clubs, but the Rossoneri are apparently leading the race to secure his services.
