Ligue 1 giants make fresh bid to sign Arsenal star
Ligue 1 giants Marseille have made a renewed bid to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, according to RMC Sport.
The Gunners graduate has been a fringe player for the club and he is likely to head for the exit door in the coming days.
Marseille previously had a £23 million bid rejected by Arsenal , but they have now returned with a fresh transfer proposal.
The offer remains undisclosed, but Marseille are said to be optimistic of reaching an agreement with the London club.
Nketiah has already agreed personal terms with Robert De Zerbi's side and he is said to be excited by Marseille's project.
The French outfit have been on a huge spending spree this summer and they are keen on challenging PSG for the league title.
They have already signed the likes of Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg from the Premier League this summer.
Nketiah could be the next in line to join them. Arsenal are expected to pursue a new striker if the 25-year-old leaves.
