Man Utd midfielder wants to join Serie A giants
Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is keen on joining Napoli before the transfer window closes, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Scotland international has become a fringe player for the Red Devils and his situation may not improve under manager Erik ten Hag.
The club are actively searching for a new defensive midfielder and they are determined to land Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.
The arrival of Ugarte could further reduce McTominay's minutes and there are no surprises that he is looking to pursue a new challenge abroad.
McTominay has already been convinced by the project at Napoli and he is open to joining them if an agreement can be reached this month.
United want around £30 million for the 26-year-old, but they may have to lower their demands to sanction his sale before the deadline.
Fulham are also interested in landing the Red Devils graduate, but their recent offer of £20 million was immediately snubbed by the United hierarchy.
