Man Utd make final decision on Ferdi Kadioglu
Manchester United have decided against pursuing a deal for Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu this month, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils recently suffered a setback with
Luke Shaw sustaining a fresh calf injury. He has been ruled out until the international break.
Despite this, United are not overly concerned about the left-back situation, considering the presence of multiple makeshift choices.
Diogo Dalot regularly played there in the back end of last season. Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui can do the same as well.
Hence, the club are not looking to sign another left-sided full-back. Kadioglu is most likely to join Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 24-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the South Coast outfit and he is waiting for the clubs to finalise a fee.
Brighton have proposed to sign him for €35m including add-ons and Fenerbahce are expected to give the green light soon.
Arsenal were also linked with Kadioglu earlier in the summer, but they opted to sign Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna instead.
