Brighton win the race to sign €30m Man Utd target
Brighton & Hove Albion have won the race to sign Manchester United target Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The left-back was on the Red Devils radar earlier this month and it was claimed that they could match the opening bid from the Seagulls.
However, the 24-year-old had already given his word to the South Coast outfit and Fenerbahce have now sold him to Brighton for €30 million.
Kadioglu is a right-footed defender and he has the ability to play in both full-back positions. He started his career as an attacking player.
He should be a fantastic signing for Brighton , who have started the season on a bright note with a 3-0 win over Everton away from home.
The Seagulls entertain United at the Amex Stadium tomorrow and it promises to be an interesting contest between two attacking sides.
Brighton have had the better of the Red Devils in recent times. They have won four of the previous five league meetings between them.
