Mohamed Salah wants to stay at Liverpool next season
Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is prepared to sign a new contract with the Merseyside giants, according to Football Insider.
The Egypt international has had a fantastic start to the Premier League season and he has already registered three goals and three assists in as many games.
His current deal with the club expires at the end of the campaign but reports claim that the 32-year-old is prepared to commit to another new contract.
Salah is presently the highest earner at the club at £350,000 per week and he is likely to hold out for a similar package for another renewal.
With huge interest from the Saudi Pro League, the Premier League club may need to meet his demands to prevent him leaving on a free transfer.
Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal are keeping tabs on the proceedings. The former were prepared to pay £130 million for Salah in the summer of 2023.
Aside from Salah, the Reds have to decide the futures of Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander -Arnold whose deals also expire in June 2025.
