Man Utd receive injury boost on key defender
Manchester United have received an injury boost on Leny Yoro, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Frenchman joined the Red Devils from Lille this summer, but unfortunately picked up a foot injury in pre-season.
He had to undergo a surgery as a result and the club have confirmed that he may not return to action until the end of October.
Yoro is still far away from a comeback, but United have received a boost with the youngster now walking without crutches.
The 18-year-old is likely to work out in the gym in the coming weeks. He could be back in individual training next month.
United currently have Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez as their preferred centre-backs with Harry Maguire as the deputy.
The club also have Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans in their ranks and Yoro is unlikely to be rushed back to first-team action.
It has been reported by The Sun that Yoro may not return to the starting plans of manager Erik ten Hag until the New Year.
